So what is an affirmation and why are they important? These are just some of the questions we will be uncovering during this Affirmation Awakening Workshop. Now would be the perfect time to create a new affirmation for how you want to move forward in your life.
If you've been feeling like you want some direction or focus, then having an affirmation may be what you need to guide you on your path. Affirmations are wonderful ways to help shift your mindset to create lasting change.
Be sure to join me for this Affirmation Awakening workshop. I will discuss the benefits of having an affirmation and will guide you through a mini heart centred meditation so you can sense what your heart truly longs for. Then, you will have time to focus on and write down your affirmation. I will give you tips along the way on how to create your affirmation to ensure it's in the present tense and something that's exciting and meaningful for you.
We will end the workshop with a guided Yoga Nidra meditation where you will embark on an inner journey of deep relaxation while focusing on your newly set affirmation. Yoga Nidra helps to relax the mind to create the conditions for transformation in the subconscious mind. Trying to make changes on a conscious level is extremely difficult, but when your mind is in a state of relaxation, it is very susceptible to change. That's just one reason why this practice is so beneficial!
Remember, during Yoga Nidra, all you need to do is lie down, listen and be guided. No Yoga or meditation experience is necessary.
