Join hosts Bonnie Koenig (meditation guide) and Marilyn Field of Windrush Estate Winery for a morning of CANADIAN ART, RELAXATION and WINE TASTING.
The morning will be filled with inspiration by Canadian art, the beauty and importance of relaxation and love of great wine. After all, you are worth it! Grab a friend or two and join us for this special mini retreat.
The morning will begin at Chateau Windrush where you will experience breathtaking views of the hills of Hockley Valley. Marilyn will introduce you to an incredible work of art painted by beloved local artist Cory Trepanier. Cory's story is extraordinary as he spent many years exploring the Canadian Arctic in order to paint magnificent landscapes.
Then Bonnie will explain the importance of cultivating a relaxation practice so that you can connect with your true self and appreciate the beauty of the present moment. You will then experience a deep relaxation practice where Bonnie will guide you through a Yoga Nidra meditation inspired by one of Cory's beautifully painted landscapes. If you have never experienced a Yoga Nidra meditation before, you are in for a treat. All you need to do is lie down, listen and be guided into deep relaxation.
After the meditation, you will journey down the hillside to Windrush Estate Winery where you will visit the winery fermenting cellar as you enjoy sampling award-winning VQA wines.
